Karina Cox

Karina joined the Board of OXPIP as Treasurer in March 2023. Originally from America, Karina began her career with 15 years in the private sector as founder of a full-service communications agency with offices in the US and UK.  After joining the grassroots Obama 2008 campaign in Atlanta, she was inspired to move into the nonprofit sector, joining The Elders Foundation in London, a collective of former world leaders working for human rights and global conflict resolution.  After qualifying as an accountant in 2017, Karina founded a consultancy focused on delivering change management, strategic development and interim finance leadership to UK and US nonprofits. Karina lives in Oxfordshire and is a mother of three, and grandmother to one. Her commitment to the invaluable work of OXPIP is inspired by a loss experienced within her own family.
